Irma Almada

Irma Almada is a dedicated dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Tucson, Arizona, with more than 13 years of training in a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, lyrical, hip hop, ballroom, musical theatre, acrobatics, and partnering. Her passion for dance has led her to perform, teach, and choreograph while inspiring the next generation of dancers.

She currently serves as an instructor and choreographer. Irma grew up dancing at Tucson Dance Academy, where she also performed for many years as a cast member in Spirit of Christmas. Her performance experience includes TAP 24.7 and participation in Jazz N' AZ at the University of Arizona.

Throughout her dance journey, she has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Joffrey Ballet Scholarship Award, NYCDA Outstanding Dancer, The Dance Awards Best Dancer, KAR Platinum Winner, LADM Platinum Winner, and the Arizona Cinderella State Talent Winner.

She is currently a third year pharmacy student at the R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy studying to be a pharmacist. Outside of school she also performs with a group called the Drop Fam where she has been a company member for the last few years.

Irma is committed to fostering creativity, discipline, and confidence both in the studio and on stage. Whether performing, choreographing, or teaching, Irma strives to share her love of dance while continuing to grow as an artist and mentor.
