Dress Code
Adult Classes
A leotard and tights or active wear, that doesn’t constrict your movement, and ballet shoes are recommended.
Tiny Dancers, Prelim Dancers & Levels 1 - 5
If you identify as she/her or they/them:

Pink or flesh/skin colored footed or convertible tights
(convertible tights are preferable for Levels 2 and above due to Preparation for Pointe and Pointe classes) -
Black Leotard (simple, not too many decorations or straps)
* Tiny Dancers and Prelim Dancers may option to wear light pink leotard
** ALL students may wear colored leotards on Saturday classes only
(Students must change back into Dress Code for rehearsals) -
Pink Ballet Shoes

Pointe Shoes (must be approved by Director)

Black skirts for classical variations classes only
* Level 5 may wear skirts for pointe classes as well -
Jazz: Biker shorts, leggings and t-shirt are acceptable; over leotard & tights or without. Black pull on Jazz shoes for Levels 1 - 2, black socks for Levels 3 - 5.

Contemporary: Biker shorts, legging, dance pants and t-shirt are acceptable; over leotard & tights or without. Bare feet or socks depending on teachers preference for class.
If you identify as he/him or they/them:

Black footed tights

White or Black solid fitted t-shirt or leotard
* ALL students may wear colored shirt and tights on Saturday classes only
(Students must change back into Dress Code for rehearsals) -
Dance Belt

Black or White Socks

Black or White Ballet Shoes

Jazz: Tights or Jazz pants and t-shirt are acceptable. Black pull on Jazz shoes for Levels 1 - 2, black socks for Levels 3 - 5.

Contemporary: Dance pants and t-shirt are acceptable. Bare feet or socks depending on teachers preference for class.
All Students

Hair must be neatly tied away from face and put up in a secure bun for all ballet classes

No watches or jewelry of any kind in classes or rehearsals (except small earrings)

Shirts must be worn for Prep for Pointe, Jazz and Contemporary classes only

For colder weather: tight fitting, waist high or full body leg warmers are acceptable for barre work only, as teacher permits
DO NOT wear dance shoes or dance clothes outside. This policy reflects concern for
the safety of our students. A cover-up over dance clothes is strongly recommended.
